Add new property

This is the first step to start using the platform. Read through the instructions to learn how to do it.

To create a property start by:

	Clicking PMS on the sidebar menu.
	Select Create new property.

Start by filling in the gaps with the property basic information, such as name, internal name, property type, currency, registration number, marketing price and external ID. You also have to add information about the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and toilets, the maximum occupancy and external ID.

Go through the following list to clarify the information that is required.

Name	Type the official name you want to give this property and that will be distributed across all your channels to identify this property.
Internal name (optional)	Fill this form with the name or designation you would like to use internally to identify this property. This name will not be distributed across your channels.
Property type	Select the property type.
Currency	Select the currency which will be by default displayed for this property.
Registration number (optional)	Some cities/countries require homeowners to obtain a license or registration number in order to be able to list their homes online. If applicable, put the property registration number here so it appears across channels.
Marketing price	Type the value to be advertised in the listings list when a guest searches your homes on booking channels.
External ID (optional)	This is an external identifier of the property.
Bedrooms	Type the number of bedrooms available in the property.
Bathrooms	Type the number of bathrooms available in the property.
Toilets (optional)	Type the number of toilets available to the property, if applicable.
Max. Occupancy	Type the maximum number of people this property can accommodate.

Then, you have to select the location of your property and complete the geolocation section with the address and postal code. Move the pinpoint on the map to indicate the exact location of the property.

Warning: If you don't have the location you're looking for on the list click +Add new to create a new location.

Location	Select the place where your property is located.
Address	Enter the property address here.
Postal code	Type the property postal code.
Geolocation	Click on the Pinpoint and move it to the exact location of the property. If you want to authorize other channels to show this location. Put a check on the box Show exact address, that is located below the map.

	After that, in the check-in and check-out detail section, choose the category that best fits your property, if applicable.
	Select the checkbox if you want your property information to be visible on the website.
	Add the homeowners of the property, if applicable.
	Finally, fill in with your property dimensions.

Don’t forget to click Save at the end of the page.

Note: In case you want to stop adding a new property either click Cancel at the end or go back on your browser. You will be redirected to the Property List page.
